Titanium has extremely high corrosion resistance in most media, especially in neutral,
oxidizing and seawater media. The corrosion resistance in seawater is higher than that
of aluminum alloys, stainless steels and nickel-based alloys.So it has been used in the
industrial, agricultural environment and marine atmosphere for several years, and the
surface has not changed.
Titanium is highly stable in various concentrations of nitric acid and chromic acid. It is also
very resistant to corrosion in alkaline solutions and most organic acids and compounds.
Titanium alloy( grade 5 grade 7 grade 12 etc.) has the characteristics of light weight, high
strength and good corrosion resistance, so titanium alloy flange is often used in oil drilling,
marine engineering, machinery and equipment manufacturing industry in the key pressure

The connection way of flange:
There are bolt holes on the flange, and the two flanges are tightly connected with bolts.
The flanges are sealed with gaskets. The connection of the flanges is made by screwing
or welding. Flange connection consists of a pair of flanges, a gasket and several composition
of bolts and nuts. The gasket is placed between the sealing surfaces of the two flanges.
After tightening the nut, the specific pressure on the gasket surface reaches deformation
occurs aftera certain value, and fills the uneven surface of the sealing surface, making the
connection tight and leaky.
